As y'all know, I love my silver fingerprints of Henry. It has been the biggest treasure for me, and I can't believe that I've had them almost a year.
I really believe that silver fingerprints are so personal, and will make great Christmas gifts.
You never need a reservation for DIYC, but I am going to suggest that if you are coming to see me to make silver fingerprints, you might want to give the shop a heads-up phone call (205-868-4346). We want to give you the attention you need to create fantastic gifts, always, but the silver does require a bit more help that pottery or glass.
The good news is that it doesn't take very long - about 30 minutes the day you make it, about the same the day you pick it up to polish and antique, and it can be ready the next day!
The final deadline for silver clay will be December 22. And we are really good at helping hapless dads!
