WOO-HOO!!!! The big guy is coming back!
Tuesday, December 9, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be joining all of us jolly elves at Do*It*Yourself Crafts. His sleigh will arrive around 10 a.m., and he'll stay until 4 p.m. This is the third year Santa has had DIYC on his route, and we're so happy to have him.
Here are the details:
Each child will paint a "cookies for Santa" plate and a special ornament that is only available on this day. Additional children or additional painting options will be available - for instance, large plates for multiple handprints, more ornaments, etc. The basic price is $30 for the plate and ornament.
Additionally, we'll have the party room looking like the most awesome Santa's photo shop ever! Your kids can bring their list for Santa, and you can bring your camera, video recorder, whatever you need. We'll have a camera in case you forget, but there is no charge for pictures with Santa (just the pottery you paint that day).
We will begin accepting reservations for Santa now. You may call the store at 205-868-4346 and reserve your spot, or email me. We'll have limited spots for each half-hour slot from 9:30 a.m. until noon, and then again from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. We keep Santa in the afternoon for our friends in preschool and mother's day out, but also after "big" school, too!
Last year, my slots for the morning "sold out" soon, so let us know that you are coming ASAP!
